Love Agency appears to be Aka Akasaka’s new Kaguya-sama
Love Agency is the new manga by Aka Akasaka, who ended Kaguya-sama, although the anime will probably continue with a possible fourth season. Aka teamed up with Mengo and together they are publishing Oshi no Ko, another big hit with a more serious story.
So Aka Akasaka teamed up with illustrator Nishizawa 5mm to launch a new manga called Love Agency. I read the first chapter and at least from the first 43 pages, it seems that he came to replace Kaguya-sama in some way.
Love Agency appears to be Aka Akasaka’s new Kaguya-sama
The story is about a boy and a girl, high school students, who love each other, they both like each other. However, the girl is called Mari Maria Winter Nanase and she is very fond of a boy named Seki.
Seki already likes Mari, the problem is that neither of them knows how to get to the other. Mari is very shy with boys and Seki doesn’t know how to approach her, so each one then contacts the “Love Agency”.
Mari contacts the love agency and begins to be guided by a fox named Kon. Kon proceeds to direct Mari on how to act to approach Seki. At the end of the chapter, we learn that Seki has also contacted the Agency of Love and is being mentored by a tanuki named Pon on how he can get closer to Mari.
It turns out that the fox named Kon is actually a girl named Aikawa Kokon, from the Agency of Love, while the Tanuki named Pon is a boy named Kengo Matsuda, also from the Agency of Love.
The twist here is that the two lovers are being helped by agents of the Agency of Love, and they don’t know it!
The chapter ends with the words: “The War of Love without rules begins”, and since Kaguya-sama was a “war of love”, at least this manga seems to be a replacement for Kaguya-sama, unless someone dies. and Love Agency transforms into a new Oshi no Ko.
Speaking of which, Love Agency takes place in the same world as Kaguya-sama and Oshi no Ko, as right in the first chapter they mention a character from Oshi no Ko.
