Kaminaki Sekai CGI Makes You Apologize to Shield Hero’s Spirit Turtle
What was Kaminaki Sekai CGI? Yesterday the anime Kaminaki Sekai no Kamisama Katsudou premiered, this is a nonsense isekai anime that mixes serious scenes with a crazy comedy, weird faces and such.
The anime is about a boy who has a father who is the leader of a religious cult, they pray to the God Mitama, then the protagonist’s own father throws his son into the sea, hoping that God will save him, detail that he is trapped, in that he dies and ends up in a new world.
Well, in this new world he’s not facing anyone, he’s just taking care of the land, drinking and talking to his friends between adult jokes in the middle, until there’s a scene where a monster appears and only you see it:

Horrible this CG of Kaminaki Sekai, right? It completely stands out from the rest of the anime in that it is totally different from the surrounding animation, it looks like a strange host that has arrived invading a place from another dimension.
Kaminaki Sekai CGI Generates Reactions
Obviously this horrible CG gained prominence on social networks, where its video has already been viewed by more than 100,000 people, who reacted to it and with some people complaining.
“Kaminaki Sekai no Kamisama Katsudou is shit, I refuse to believe this was made by real people and not just scrap isekai content compiled by an algorithm.”
“Kaminaki Sekai no Kamisama Katsudou that brought a horrendous 3D, although I found the episode fun”
“First impressions of Kaminaki Sekai: The isekai looks watchable but, it’s too fast and the CGI is awful, I’ll give it 2 more chances”
“We were too hard on Shield Hero” (Regarding the turtle)
“Better than Arifureta’s CGI”
“But what CGI was that? Yeah, it quickly killed my expectations for this adaptation, the animation and art style were already meh, but that’s the icing on the cake”
“I wouldn’t be surprised if this CGI was used for comedy purposes”
“I’ve seen some dated CGI in anime before, but nothing like this. It looks like it has standard unit shaders!”
In my opinion, the Kaminaki Sekai CGI was intentional, because the episode does have some very animated scenes mixed with a crazy comedy, so you suspect if the production really didn’t want to do it.
Fans usually criticize the use of CGI in anime too much because in the great immensity of the times it doesn’t look good, as someone mentioned above, for example the Spirit Turtle that appears in the second season of Shield Hero, a lot of people criticized her, in case you don’t remember or have not seen, she was like this in the episodes:
I remember commenting that I didn’t think the turtle’s CGI was bad, but the vast majority of fans didn’t like it. And then there’s the horrible CGI in Arifureta, which were all sad to watch:
Let’s wait for the next few episodes and see how Kaminaki Sekai’s CGI plays out after this horror show unfolds for our eyes.
