Fans Are worried about Sachika Misawa Mental State
Fans are concerned about voice actress Sachika Misawa due to her worrying attitudes on social media, especially Instagram and Twitter.
In case you’re not familiar with Sachika Misawa, she’s a renowned voice actress and singer, known for lending her voice to characters like Aoba Moca in BanG Dream!, Akino Sakura in Ore wo Suki, Mikage Sakuyo in Mahou Shoujo Ore, Areash Rayet in Aldnoah Zero, Kohinata Yukari in Futsuu no Joshikousei, Kuroyukihime in Accel World, among many other works that you can check out here.
However, what is happening to her? Let’s first understand a little about the background of this voice actress.
A History of Sachika Misawa
In 2008, Sachika Misawa won Kadokawa’s Up-Front Style Idol Seiyuu Audition. The following year, in 2009, she made her debut as a voice actress in Shangri-LA, voicing the character Gamagoori Yuri.
In June 2022, Sachika Misawa announced that she would be taking a break from activities due to health issues. She returned in August of the same year.
In November 2022, her agency Stardust announced that Sachika Misawa would be taking a break from social media. At the time, there was a conversation among fans in which some pointed out that she was “behaving differently” when answering questions compared to when she was playing her character in Uma Musume (where she voices Sakura Bakushin-O).
On April 1, she posted on her Instagram announcing that she had left the Stardust agency and was now working as a freelancer.
Despite being published on April 1st, the news is real: Sachika Misawa has indeed left her agency. When accessing the Stardust website, it is possible to see a news item dated March 15, communicating that Sachika Misawa is no longer part of the company.
Sachika Misawa’s mental state
For some time now, fans have noticed that Sachika’s publications on her social networks have a rather sad tone.
According to reports on Reddit, Sacchan (as she is nicknamed by fans), posted this here on her Twitter profile: “I’m not the Sachika you expect, please unfollow me, for everyone’s sake.”
After that post, fans started RTing and sending messages of support, to which she responded with, “Why is increasing, go down.”
Another report says that during an Instagram Live, Sacchan was completely ignoring comments from fans sending her messages of love and support.
At that moment, she deleted all her publications from her Twitter, as you can see here. Before deleting all of her tweets, Sacchan was sharing hateful tweets against her, and posting some other worrying tweets, example of some of the tweets below:
“So what if I’m struggling mentally, if I do my job well, if I keep going even when things are tough, isn’t that good enough?”
“If I give up now, the number of victims will only increase, right? That’s why I’ll keep fighting until I die”
“No matter how hard I work, I can’t match people’s ideals, I get criticized. They tell me to be myself, but when I am, I get criticized. They tell me to take a break, but if I I shoot, I lose jobs, there’s no way to win”
“I realized that there are a lot of people who tweet in my defense, a lot of people genuinely care about me, I regret what I did. I’m really sorry. The hateful comments always come out so I assumed half of my followers just follow me to blame me.”
Nobody really knows what’s going on with her, fans only know what she transmits through her social networks, but I hope I don’t come here in the future to give sad news.
