Censorship Gets WORSE on Ayakashi Triangle Blu-ray

When the anime adaptation of Ayakashi Triangle first premiered, we saw the kind of censorship that was applied, with images of Shirogane covering all the ecchi content. However, at that time, the anime faced production issues and ended up being postponed.

Now, upon its return, the anime’s team decided to change the censorship approach by creating various different images of Shirogane, as well as reducing the size of the censorship:

Above, you can see the old censorship in the anime. For its re-airing, a new form of censorship was introduced with several humorous images and smaller cover-ups. You can check it out below:

And now, the first volume of the Ayakashi Triangle anime’s Blu-ray has been released, and let me tell you that the censorship is even worse on the Blu-ray than it was in the anime. They could have at least left Shirogane there!

Instead of images of Shirogane as a pineapple, ice cream, banana, donut, and others, we now have only a black blot covering the ecchi scenes:

As you can see above, the Shirogane censorship is gone, but now we have a black blot covering the girls’ thighs. The scene below is even worse because, at least in the TV version, you could see something, but now it’s all too dark to understand what’s happening:

According to what was posted, the Ayakashi Triangle Blu-ray was advertised as “removing all the censorship” present in the anime, which was Shirogane covering all the ecchi content. However, upon watching this Blu-ray version, it was confirmed that Shirogane is indeed gone, but another form of censorship still covers the girls.

Obviously, this Blu-ray censorship left fans disappointed:

“It’s official now, it’s the end of Blu-rays. Blu-rays are not what they used to be. We can only hope for the decline in BD sales and its destruction.”

“I don’t get it; the Blu-ray is worse than the TV version.”

“Man, why?”

“I guess I won’t be watching the Ayakashi Triangle anime then.”

“And here I was holding off watching the TV version, waiting for the Blu-ray.”

“How can they make the Blu-ray worse than the TV version?”
