DanDaDan was Censored in China

Apparently DanDaDan is being censored in China, at least that’s what some images that have appeared on the internet are suggesting, showing the female characters’ clothes modified to cover more of their bodies.

In the scene where Momo is kidnapped by Aliens and is only wearing underwear and tied up, the Chinese censors covered her underwear with what appears to be a garment made of black marker:

And it doesn’t stop there, even Momo’s grandmother was censored, since she walks around quite comfortably in her house, in the Chinese version they decided to put more clothes on her.

And these are all the images that were published on the internet of the Chinese censors, I usually like to try to go to the source and confirm the information, but it’s quite a lot of work to go to bilibili and watch the episode there, confirming that it was in fact censored.

But something I found on the internet was a user on Twitter showing the print of what would be another Chinese anime streaming service and there the episodes of Dandadan were not censored.
