According to Yutura, Tarou has been playing Fortnite daily since first grade in elementary school. At the age of 10, he achieved 1st place on the Asian solo leaderboard and ranked 23rd globally.
In his post, Tarou explained that his decision to leave school and focus on Fortnite stems from a desire to balance sleep, exercise, and study while playing, in addition to pursuing his career on YouTube.
This decision, of course, was made in consultation with his parents and school. Tarou explained that if he were to attend school, he would only have 4 hours a day to practice Fortnite after returning home. However, 4 hours is insufficient training time, considering professional players train 7 to 10 hours a day.
While fans encouraged Tarou, imagine the number of negative comments he received regarding his decision. Some questioned the long-term sustainability of Fortnite, raising concerns about his future prospects without a formal education.
As previously mentioned, Tarou plans to study from home instead of attending school. What will he study at home? Well, he expressed an interest in civil engineering and construction, and he plans to start learning about these fields this year.
