Woman Arrested for Selling Uncensored Photos of Herself
You should know that in Japan, there is a law that prohibits adult content from being released uncensored. It is mandatory to censor certain parts in movies, anime, manga, photos, and so on.
Despite discussions and efforts by politicians to repeal this censorship law, progress has been slow. Today’s case has caused quite a stir because a 21-year-old woman has been arrested for something that is hard to believe.
Woman Arrested for Selling Uncensored Photos of Herself
On June 30th, a 21-year-old woman named Yukino Kimura was arrested. As mentioned in the introduction, you might already have an idea of the reason, but do you know exactly what she did?
Basically, she had a Twitter account where she posted videos and photos of herself without clothes and sold them through social media. The catch is, she did not censor her videos or photos, and that’s why she was arrested.
She had a regular job, working at a company in Kyoto, while maintaining her Twitter account where she sold videos and photos for prices ranging from 3,500 to 4,000 yen (approximately $24.31 to $27.78). Perhaps because she didn’t censor her content, she made a total profit of 1.7 million yen (around $11,808.10).
However, Yukino Kimura was not the only woman arrested in this police operation. Four other women who were engaged in similar activities were also apprehended. Along with Kimura’s arrest, the police seized her cell phone, a clothing item she used for recordings, and other related items
With no other option, Yukino Kimura admitted to her crime and stated that she used the money she earned to supplement her income, as her regular job was not enough for her to make a living.
Here is Kimura’s profile, but it is currently protected. Truly, forget about Japan and uncensored content.
