Watashi no Kouguchi-Sensei Reveals How a Comic LO Author Works
Author Takeshita Kenjirou has started publishing a new manga on the Comic Walker website (which also has the ReZero and Maou 2099 mangas, for example). His new manga is called “Watashi no Kouguchi-Sensei” and is about a mangaka and his assistant drawing mangas.
However, there are some details in this whole story that might give you a headache.
Watashi no Kouguchi-Sensei Reveals How a Comic LO Author Works
The story of Watashi no Kouguchi-Sensei by Takeshita Kenjirou begins when a young girl knocks on Kouguchi’s door, who is a mangaka who is looking for an assistant to help him finish his mangas. However, he is surprised when he opens his door and sees that there is a little girl there.
The little girl introduces herself as Shiina and says that she came for his assistant interview. Kouguchi gets confused and tells her that he specified that the assistant must be over 18 years old for the job. She then shows him her ID.
Shiina is actually 20 years old! She looks like a middle school girl but she is a 20 year old college student. Kouguchi then checks her ID and apologizes for having judged her based on her appearance.
Come on, there is much more to this work. Shiina then enters Kouguchi’s apartment and is enchanted by everything, after all, this is her favorite author’s workplace. She then picks up one of his manuscripts and is totally amazed to be able to see it in person.
We are then introduced to the type of manga Kouguchi makes… loli manga for Comic LO… out of curiosity, Comic LO is a real magazine, there they publish R18 manga only of lolis.
But let’s get to the interview, shall we? Shiina still hasn’t gotten the job. She passes her drawings to Kouguchi, who gives her a very critical analysis. She simply doesn’t seem to have the level he needs. Fearing that she won’t get the job, Shiina despairs and starts to want to lift her skirt, saying that if she can’t draw, she can serve as a model so he can draw his mangas!
Is that okay? Is this the kind of manga that Watashi no Kouguchi-Sensei is? No! Kouguchi says that Shiina can’t be used as a reference and he explains exactly why? According to him, it’s because she’s 20 years old!
Kouguchi explains to Shiina that no matter how much she looks like a little girl, Shiina is a 20-year-old adult, and that’s already something that “ruins” her. It doesn’t matter if she dresses in little girl clothes, she’s not a real little girl, she’s a 20-year-old adult wearing little girl clothes and that’s no good.
However, an accident happens and he ends up accepting Shiina as his assistant for at least 1 month to see how things will turn out. Shiina then returns home and finds her sister, who looks just like Shiina, as you can see in the image below.
Ready for another plot twist? Shiina’s older sister then says that she drank too much and that she is looking for her identity, so we have the revelation that Shina stole her 20-year-old sister’s identity and that she is actually an elementary school student!

THERE’S MORE, CALM DOWN, IT GETS CRAZIER! I mentioned earlier that this manga is written by Takeshita Kenjirou, right? He is a mangaka who draws adult loli manga for Comic LO under the name Nekodanshaku, and who has now decided to publish a manga in Comic Walker.
