Short Tatsumaki Cosplayer Forced to Explain Herself Again
A while back, there was a Twitter controversy involving Yuki, an adult woman who happens to be short. She got into a heated debate for cosplaying as Tatsumaki from the One Punch Man series, with many people accusing her of intentionally acting childish. However, the truth is she’s naturally petite.
Short Tatsumaki Cosplayer Forced to Explain Herself Again
The controversy took place in February 2023, and now in September, Yuki found herself having to explain once more. It all started when another cosplayer saw her photo and complained. This cosplayer only had 2,000 followers, but her post gained significant attention and went viral:
She wrote:
In case it’s not clear, the cosplayer in question is complaining that Yuki posed as Tatsumaki, wearing fishnet stockings and bunny outfit alongside stuffed animals, obviously trying to appear even more childish.
This brought Yuki back into the spotlight, and she made the following post:
“ok this image is circulating again so i would like to clarify that: 1. this photo isn’t edited. we’re both just wearing standard cosplay makeup 2. this is @rowsvee‘s room, so those are her plushies 3. i mainly make muscle-focused content
“she knows what she’s doing!” i’m trying to cosplay tatsumaki, a petite adult woman, with my beautiful friend rowsvee. i am huffing and crossing my arms because said character is bad-tempered
“i don’t “play” into the fact i look “childish”. actually, i’m hyperconscious of it so i do the exact opposite. i make gym/fitness content. i act like an adult. i have a deep voice and mature cadence. i constantly remind people of my age. i only cosplay adult characters. if i wanted to pander, there are much more effective ways to go about it lol “she’s purposefully posing with plushies!” i’d like to stress that this is rowsvee‘s room.
we didn’t even think to remove her stuffed animals because “child” was the last possible thing on our minds lol
“u look like a child so anyone attracted to u is a p*do!”
to me, this sounds like the same flawed logic as “she’s 16 but she looks 24 so it’s fine”. no, it’s not fine putting aside the fact i don’t look like a child, pedophilia is surprisingly determined by age, not appearance. it’s not immoral because children look a specific way. what makes pedophilia reprehensible is the fact that children do not have the capacity to consent. i can consent, and i don’t act nor look like a child so being attracted to me is fine actually”
Yuki then commented on the cosplayer’s profile who made the initial post, explaining that it wasn’t her room but belonged to the other cosplayer. Yuki ended up being blocked by her:
another great chat! 👍 pic.twitter.com/nhl3GCvKcS

Fans then looked into the profile of the cosplayer who posted against Yuki and found photos of her cosplaying as Illya from the Fate/Kaleid anime and as a high school student in her room with stuffed animals in the background:
Her profile is currently locked as of this post:
It must be frustrating to have to explain that you’re an adult woman who just happens to be petite.
