Misty is Buffed in this Pokémon Mobile game ADs
There’s a mobile game coming called Monster World 3D RPG, which has a golden seal on Twitter and is paying for promotion to announce the game’s release.
Despite its wild name, Monster World 3D RPG appears to be a Chinese-origin mobile game heavily inspired by Pokémon. However, no one knows if it’s genuinely official due to the bizarre things they post.
For instance, if you enter the iOS store, you’ll see this as the game’s icon:
But if you search for the origin of this image, it’s from an old fanart that could be a mega form of the Pokémon Lapras. So yes, they’re using fanart for the game’s icon:

What’s really catching attention in the Monster World 3D RPG campaign are the ads, especially Misty. They’ve used some arts of Misty to try to get attention:
But nothing beats the ad below, which features the character Lillie alongside a very buffed-up version of Misty, and both of them speaking a kind of Chinglish:

Let’s take a look at some comments:
“Misty, you’ve grown since the last time I saw you.”
“Do you guys have issues?”
“I can’t wait to see you fall.”
“It’s disturbing how their voices sound like children.”
“WHAT DID YOU DO TO MISTY?”
“Why is Misty so… huge… what did you do to her?”
“It seems like it gets worse with every ad.”
“I love Pokémon.”
Well, apparently, this game might not last long, and it’s amazing that they even got it into the iOS store with a release date set for January 2024.
However, if you watch the gameplay video of the game, it’s surprisingly well-made:
