It all began on July 21, when Minase shared screenshots on her Twitter account of a conversation with one of Pialans’ managers. In the messages, the manager made unwanted romantic advances, saying things like, “I want to make you happy as your boyfriend.”

He also pushed for dates, stating, “Go out with me, there’s no downside,” and in moments of frustration, sent messages like, “You must be sleeping at another man’s house, right?”.

Minase revealed that these messages were “just a small part” of a behavior that had been ongoing for months, causing her significant stress, as her requests for the harassment to stop were ignored.

Following the exposure of the case, the group’s management announced in a statement that the man involved was an external contractor, and that measures would be taken to protect the idols and prevent future incidents. However, Minami contradicted this information, stating that he was part of the company.

The manager was fired, and Pialans’ management announced plans to implement protective measures for the members. In the statement, they also expressed displeasure with Minami for posting the messages without the usual management review, a standard practice within the group.

Despite the incident, Minami remains a member of Pialans and apologized for the inconvenience caused, stating that she will dedicate herself even more to the fans.
