Blood Otaku has become one of the most talked about topics on Japan Twitter

Sangue Otaku se tornou um dos Assuntos mais Comentados do Twitter

Around October 16th, that is, practically last week, the term “Otaku Blood” became one of the most talked about topics on Japanese Twitter.

The reason for this? A certain unfortunate comment made by a person who later had to lock their account. Come on, in Japan there are blood donation campaigns aimed at otakus.

Usually in these campaigns you receive some product for your donation, one of the most famous cases was Uzaki-chan, where many people lost their minds because of the campaign poster:

But then, why did the term go viral? Because a certain person, who locked the profile and then deleted it, said this pearl here:

“The purpose of otaku blood donations is to get their bodily fluids into women’s bodies, not to cooperate with the donation.”

This tweet was so discriminatory that the term “Otaku Blood” went viral, these were some of the responses he got:

“How do you know the blood you’re going to receive is otaku?”

“Do you think otakus are like that because you are like that?”

“Otaku is just a hobby”

“This is discrimination, why only otaku blood? There is no way to classify blood into categories including race and gender”

Every now and then some pretty absurd things pop up on Twitter from Japan.
