The author of Hyouka, Yonezawa Honobu, is facing a complicated situation as his father has gone missing. He took to his Twitter profile to seek help and express his desire to see his father again.
Father of Hyouka Author is Missing
In a now-deleted post on his profile, the author of Hyouka shared a picture of his family car along with a message that read:
“I apologize for my weakness. It’s a personal matter, but my family went fishing and they haven’t returned yet. I’ve informed the police. I wanted to know if anyone has seen a strange reddish AQUA parked in a suspicious spot near the Inukami River or the Uso River basin in Shiga, or on National Route 21 from Gigu to Shiga.”
As mentioned above, he later deleted this post. In an update, the author of Hyouka mentioned that the car had been found, but his father is still missing, indicating that it wasn’t his entire family that disappeared, only his father.
At the moment, all the author of Hyouka can do is stay at home, waiting for news. The police have been notified and are conducting searches in the nearby areas where he would have gone fishing.
