Uzaki Influenced the new Blood Donation Posters?

Uzaki Influenced the new Blood Donation Posters

During Comiket it is normal to have blood donation campaigns, where otakus come, donate and win a poster of some anime or game as a reward for the act.

Years ago, there was a huge controversy online over the poster below, which was part of a Red Cross blood donation campaign featuring the anime Uzaki-chan.

Many of the online complaints came from women’s groups who claimed the poster was totally unrealistic, depicting women as adult objects.

Uzaki-chan’s case took place in 2019, and fans have noticed that since then, the vast majority of blood donation reward posters haven’t been including much ecchi.

But other things they noticed is that most of the posters are from games or Vtubers as opposed to anime posters.

These were some of the otaku reactions:

“Comparing the before and after of Uzaki’s poster, you see that posters based on anime and manga are disappearing”

“They’re craving otaku blood so why is that?”

“Feminists or not, anime popularity is down due to gacha games and Vtubers”

“There was no difference”

“Otaku blood has the lowest risk of disease”

Anyway, what do you think? Is there really a before and after of Uzaki’s poster in terms of blood donation?
