Otakus, there are otakus everywhere, I look at Tiktok i see otakus, I look at Facebook i see otakus, I look at Twitter i see otakus fighting, I look at Instagram i see otakus, and now even rapper Lil Uzi Vert is an otaku.
I don’t know rappers, let alone English songs, as most of me only listen to Japanese songs or games songs, but recently a rapper apparently famous, as he has 16 million followers on Instagram, proved to be a otaku.
The 27-year-old rapper posted a video on his Instagram with a dakimakura… of REM! But there’s no way to blame him, after all, she was chosen the most beautiful girl in anime in a recent fan poll.
In another moment of the video he is shown lying down hugging the dakimakura, and with Rem in a tiny bikini, showing that he has a very ecchi dakimakura of her:

Seeing the comments on his post (which has more than 1 million likes), the vast majority of people are joking and having fun with the video.
I find it funny that many times on Twitter some fans post their otakices and end up receiving comments like “have a life”, “what a disgusting guy”, etc.
