Konami employee arrested for beating ex-boss with fire extinguisher
This happened around 11 am on April 11th at Konami’s office in Ginza. Yamazaki grabbed a nearby fire extinguisher and hit the victim from behind as he worked until other colleagues held him back.
Yamazaki confessed to the allegations, saying, “I was being harassed by power, so I hit him with the intent to kill to live.” The victim suffered minor injuries and is expected to leave the hospital after a few days.
According to the police, Yamazaki worked in the same department as his former boss until the summer of 2020, but was transferred to another department due to human relations concerns.
He was fired on April 11 following that case. Unfortunately, another case of harassment that, this time, was quite violent.
