Gundam Suisei no Majo shocks fans with Bloody Scene

Gundam Suisei no Majo shocks fans with Bloody Scene

Gundam Suisei no Majo shocks fans who decided this would be their first brush with the series due to the cute girls and all the high school drama that dragged on for 11 episodes.

Gundam Suisei no Majo premiered last season and has as main characters Suletta and Miorine, two cute girls, this caught the attention of many people who decided then that this would be their first Gundam (myself included).

Until then the anime was normal for most of its episodes, drama between students, some fights but nothing serious, but we reached the last episode and we had shocking events, such as the scene below:

The context of this scene is as follows, Miorine is taking her injured father to a safe place, when a soldier appears, this soldier’s mission is to kill Miorine’s father, in that Suletta appears in her Gundam and simply crushes the man in front of Miorine.

Miorine is then shocked and asks how Suletta can smile like that after crushing the guy, to which she ends up calling Suletta a murderer.

And so ends the first part of the Gundam Suisei no Majo anime.

Gundam Anime

As mentioned before, those who have never seen Gundam in their lives and chose this one for the cute girls were really shocked and surprised by this last episode of the first part, there is another event that was also very traumatic and shocking involving another character but I will not talk about it here.

According to an article by Yahoo News Japan, many users found the latest episode “excessively depressing”, others couldn’t believe their eyes and an argument ensued.

“Reaction from those who watched Gundam episode 12

< general public
> Who knows Gundam”

But for those who have watched past Gundam anime, this last episode of Gundam Suisei no Majo was just the “tip of the Iceberg” when it comes to Gundam.

This type of reaction and comments were expected from those who came to see Gundam for the first time, as this type of thing is normal in the series.

Check out some comments:

“Imagine Westerners’ reaction to finding out that Gundam isn’t about cute lesbians and high school drama”

“Episode 12, not counting the prologue, is the most Gundam episode in the entire first part of Gundam Suisei no Majo”

“Well… basically these are the people who migrated from Lycoris Recoil and didn’t mind watching episode 0 and came for ‘yuri’ “

“Isn’t it a cute Yuri anime? Now I’m interested, I’ve been avoiding this anime this whole time thinking it was a cute Yuri anime”

“All of Gundam is dark, with the exception of that SD series, but it’s still a war series, it always has been.”

“Are they really surprised that a Gundam anime has extreme violence?”

The famous Twitter meme got a new version with this scene from Gundam:

This one made a very pertinent observation, Gundan Suisei no Majo collaborated with a type of savory, Elan’s flavor is like grilled corn, and well, in the anime it has a similar fate.

Miorine’s taste is tomato, and now she saw a soldier being crushed and all his blood came up.

What did I think Gundam was?

I even started to comment on Gundam Suisei no Majo here on the site but I only did that for the first two episodes, which happened and I stopped watching and then I didn’t post anymore.

But after the last episode aired I watched all the episodes in sequence and now I’m up to date with the series.

Honestly, I came to watch Gundam Suisei no Majo for the waifus, especially Miorine who I thought was cute, I’ve never watched anything from Gundam before and I don’t know anything about the series.

The only things I knew was that the main robot, the Gundam is colorful, has several figures of him and just basically, so my impression was that the anime were childish and made to sell the robots/models.

I honestly never expected Gundam to be about dark stories, in fact I’m having a hard time getting that idea out of my head right now as I really always believed Gundam was childish! I have to watch more for that to change.

But anyway, I never had contact with Gundam, I was never very interested in Mechas, but anyway, did you watch Gundam Suisei no Majo?

Gundam Suisei no Majo will return with its second part in April.
