ReZero author wants to make Emilia kill Subaru in the future

Would that really be something quite unexpected in the story, Emilia killing Subaru? If I’m not mistaken this occurs in one of the IF’s, but in the main story this is kind of thoughtless, right?

Well, according to a message from Tappei Nagatsuki that he made in 2014 when responding to a fan, he has plans to include in the main story a twist where Emilia ends up killing Subaru in the main story.

Well, that’s the author of ReZero himself giving spoilers of something he might include in the story. I don’t know if you remember the second season when Emilia faces the third trial and has that whole vision of destruction from the future, where Emilia says that she hates a certain person.

Some theorize that it may be at this moment that Emilia ends up killing Subaru, but we’ll only know about the events of the story when Tappei writes more, right.
