Classroom of the Elite Delays Blu-ray Releases to Improve Animation Quality
If you think it’s just the international fans that are annoyed by the quality of Classroom of the Elite anime you’re wrong, the Japanese are complaining too much too and quite annoyed at how the second season is turning out.
Classroom of the Elite is one of Kadokawa’s best-selling light novels and even so, it received a production below what is expected in relation to the size of the work, which greatly irritates fans.
We know that Kadokawa wants to release at least 40 animes a year and because of that some productions end up being rushed and the result is bad animation.
So it was announced that the release of Classroom of the Elite Season 2 Blu-rays have all been postponed, and the reason is the excitement!

In a statement on the official website, they stated that they have changed the release dates for the anime’s 4 Blu-ray and DVD volumes so that the production team will “do their best” to deliver a better-animated product to fans.
The new dates are as follows:
Blu-ray and DVD Volume 1
Previous Date: 10/26/2022 – New Date: 12/23/2022
Blu-ray and DVD Volume 2
Previous Date: 11/25/2022 – New Date: 01/25/2023
Blu-ray and DVD volume 3
Previous Date: 12/23/2022 – New Date: 02/22/2023
Blu-ray and DVD Volume 4
Previous Date: 01/25/2023 – New Date: 03/24/2023

For those who don’t remember, a special light novel called “Volume 0” will come out along with the anime’s blu-ray that will reveal Ayanokouji’s past.
