Yes, because this is false, the author of Blue Lock did not design the Japan national team uniform, Adidas Japan made the uniform.

In August of this year, the Japan National Team together with Adidas entered into a collaboration with the Blue Lock and Giant Killing manga, two manga about soccer.

The purpose of the collaboration was to attract young people’s interest to watch the Japanese national team, so the illustrators of these two manga drew their characters using the shirt, but they didn’t do the design!

To get an idea, this was the comment from the Blue Lock illustrator when he saw the uniform:

“When I first saw the new uniforms I thought they were really cool, I immediately noticed the origami. The linear design was really nice and Japanese, I liked it right from the moment I saw it.”

The author of the publication of the print above deleted the post and left the correction with the correct information later, but unfortunately this has already spread too much and many people are believing this.
