Which anime character would you like to have as your Kid?
The company Tora Con recently conducted a survey in which they asked Japanese people the following question: ”Which anime character would you like to have as your Kid?”. Wanting to see which are the most beloved anime characters to have as a child.
The poll got 17,411 responses from Tora Con service users and Twitter followers. Anyway, let’s take a look at the character picks!

3 (tie) – Edward Elric from FullMetal Alchemist
”He’s kind and energetic, and always thinks of his brother and other family members”, said one of Ed’s fans.
3 (empate) – Hidetoshi Dekisugi from Doraemon
No, not Doraemon’s human protagonist Nobita, but his classmate Hidetoshi, whose family name is a pun that can be interpreted as “incredibly good”. While his perfect manners, excellent grades, and overall athletic prowess might not make for the most appealing character arc, having a son who is “caring, serious, and dependable” is something any parent would want.
2 – Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
”He is devoted to his sister”, ‘‘Honest and determined” and ”Pure in heart”. said some of those surveyed.
1 – Anya Forger from SPY x FAMILY
Unsurprisingly, the character who has awakened the maternal and paternal instincts of many people recently. ”She makes you realize again how cute kids are”.
The Tora Con poll also asked another similar question: ”Which anime character would you like to birth and/or create?”.

As you can see, respondents chose characters with good qualities. Determined characters, who love their families and seek to achieve their goals somehow.
